One of the steps that have been taken towards up-scaling of agriculture in Nigeria is the development of projects that add value to agrarian products all over the country. The Kano State Government has taken appreciable steps in this direction by implementing the Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS) Project in the State.
