VCIP on Rice Processing

This is written by the Entrepreneur to meet its obligations in the quantity and quality of milled rice, the project is proposing to improve the processing capacity of the Entrepreneur from 1.5tons per day to 4tons per day. A total of 160tons of paddy rice will be produced by each CIG in the alliance, giving a total of 800tons of rice produced for the alliance considering that rice is produced for two cycles in a year, 800tons paddy rice will give 520tons milled rice.

The project objective is to strengthen and increase the quantity of smoked fish by COS AQUACULTURE SUPPORT SERVICES by 75%, and also strengthen fish processing system with a view to ensuring that fish investment attain an exportable status within the project life. The Output of fish processed will increase from 20 tons to 35 tons per annum and also there will be increase in number of jobs created
