Use of Urea Deep Placement Technology among Rice Farmers in Kano State.

Assessing the level farmers’ usage of Urea Deep Placement (UDP) is important to improve the efficiency of soil nutrient. Extension organizations such as KNARDA are responsible for disseminating the technology. The demonstration provides an insight into the practice of UDP among the Project’s registered farmers engaged in rice production as a means to improve the efficiency of soil nutrient, promote climate smart agricultural practice as well as improve productivity of the rice fields.
