Read moreThis VCIP is developed to achieve an average liveweight yield of 2.5kg at 6weeks for the broilers raised as against 2.2kg hitherto realized at 8weeks by the farmers. The farmers are thus able to do 4cycles of production annually. A higher profit and return on investment are thus realized by the farmers. Their current scale of production of 174,500 broiler chickens per annum will also be increased to 218,800 broiler chickens per annum (25.39% increase) through the proposed business alliance and technical intervention of the APPEALS Project.
